Why did you join?
Past section president Jada Hoerr explains the perks of joining SWE.
"I joined SWE so that young girls would know what a great career option engineering and that it's a way to make a difference." - Stacey DelVecchio
"I joined SWE to meet and connect with other women. Working in a mostly male environment, there are few opportunities to spend time with women who share common interests. SWE has been a great network of friends for me." - Britta Jost
"Involvement in SWE has provided me with great opportunities to network with women from varying engineering disciplines. SWE is also a conduit for me to continually develop my abilities and to encourage others to consider engineering as a career." - Emily Munday
