Caterpillar Altorfer Power Systems Tour

Please join SWE-CI for a technical tour of Altorfer, a CAT Dealer, in Bartonville. The tour will provide an in-depth overview of Altorfer Power Systems Division where their manufacturing includes engine generator sets and data center business. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required for the tour, specifically steel-toed boots and safety glasses. It’s important to come prepared to ensure everyone’s safety during the visit. If you do not have the required PPE, we may have some spare shoe covers and glasses. 

Attendees will receive more detailed information closer to the tour date. This event is open to all members and non-members. The tour is on May 5 at 10am. There is a limit of 15 people, so please make sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible.

Spring Fling and Networking Thing

International Potluck Day 

The WLI & Membership Committee cordially invites you to join us in your native attire and bring a meal to share. This is a unique opportunity to share and learn about different cultures. Feel free to bring lawn chairs for your comfort, games and a foldable table to share artifacts from your culture. This invitation is open to your family members. SWE-CI will provide chicken, water, and paper products.

Girl Scout Day at the Capitol – May 2, 2025

Girl Scout Day at the Capitol is a unique opportunity for Girl Scouts throughout Illinois and surrounding states to assemble while learning about our government and community.  This event also gives Girl Scouts the opportunity to discover downtown Springfield and the history of our State Capitol. SWE-CI will be hosting hand on activity with 3D pens and large format 19th amendment puzzle. Discover more here!
