Apple Picking
Join SWE members along with your kids to pick your favorite variety of apples and Pumpkins this Fall.
You can enjoy the delicious Apple cider donuts along with the fresh Apple cider.
When: Saturday, October 7th
Time: 10:00 -12:00 AM
Where: 740 IL-40, Speer, IL 61479
Cost: U-Pick is $5/per person field admission fee (ages 3 and up). The charge for apples is $12/half peck picked and $20/peck picked. The charge for pumpkins is $7 each or $20 for three.

Dunlap 2023 Banner Elementary Fall Festival
We have a SWE booth for the event on 14 October 12-2 PM. We have 3-4 STEM activities lined up for the elementary kids and are in need of volunteers 3-4 per hour. Looking for a total of 6-8 volunteers for the event.

SWE Outreach -Pekin High School Career Day
Pekin students want to talk to individuals about how they got started in their current job, what kind of training they had to complete, what the general pay is, and what a typical workday looks like. Students have specifically asked for representatives to bring something interactive that is representative of the field.
